My name is Menbere Assefa. I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I came to the United States at the age of 8. I was raised in Washington, DC. My major is International Relations and Affairs and minor in Spanish. I am fluent in Amharic and English. I love to listen to all types of music but mainly R&B. My favorite artists are Mary J. Blige and T.I. I am excited to be back in school and looking forward to meeting new people. Also, I love to travel and learn about different cultures. After graduating college, I would like to work with the United Nations.
